If you could pick any fictional animal to be your lifelong companion (like a Pokémon or fantasy pet), what would it be?
I was born in the late 70s, so 80s movies are my jam.
While it had some scary parts (yeah, the wolf Nothing) and some heartbreaking scenes (Swamp of Sadness and the horse), The Neverending Story was a truly great movie.
If I could pick one fantasy pet, it would be Falkor.

In my opinion, the coolest part of the movie wasn’t the giant puppet. Dude took about 25 handlers to run. It was the idea that Bastion was interacting with the book as a character, not just a passive reader.
