My son got me a mother’s day car that played that song. And I wouldn’t stop, even when closed.
So we muffled it under piles of pillows and heavy blankets to cease the incessant Rick Rolling that just wouldn’t stop.
I eventually stashed the card in my sock drawer, wedged shut between the front of the drawer and some wool socks.
When I was feeling a little down, I’d open the card and smile.
A year later, the battery finally died and I was a little sad.
I told my son about the eventual death of the card and he laughed, quite hysterically. He asked if I had ever opened it to take the battery out. Seems that the non-stop was on purpose.
When I told him no, he informed me that there was a tiny glitter bomb tucked inside.
So….. I’m glad I didn’t open it to terminate, or replace the battery 😂
