That thing attached to the wall

1–2 minutes

Which outdated technology do you miss the most, and why?

Yes, I’m referring to the telephone.

Not the cordless one, and not the phone over Verizon one.

The actual, corded, worked when there was no power, phone.

The one you had to be home to answer.

Maybe not that old.

I do remember using one of those as well.

Life was a lot simpler when our little pocket computers weren’t so intrusive. And sometimes, I do miss that.

Yes, I’m typing this on my iphone. And yes, I do feel a little anxious if I leave home without it.

Maybe that’s the problem?

We become so crippled when we don’t have our cell phones.

How many people can say they remember peoples phone numbers? Directions to somewhere? Instructions to do, make, learn?

We are legitimately losing the ability to do things that we took for granted during the corded-phone-age.

It’s scary.

Boo!
