How do you use social media?

Very few of the people I know any more haven’t left their birth city. Once upon a time, multiple generations were just in the same spot. Personally, I’m a long ways from ye’old birthplace.

Enter social media!

I can see what my family is up to. I can see what my friends are up to. And, I can find new members of “my people”.

I recently joined the SCA. It’s basically medieval nerd stuff. And, thanks to social media, I have found all of the groups of folks interested in the same things I am. So exciting.

Yes, I using social media for good, not just doom-scrolling.

I have told my mom many times, go to where your people are. So that’s what I’m using FB for: finding more of my people. Huzzah!
