What are your favorite brands and why?
I used to be very much “shop the best brand name you could find”. Yes, if I’m buying something like, oh a new SCUBA regulator, yes, I’ll go a brand that I know. It’s Mares, btw.
But clothes? Jewelry? Berries?
Except for the berries, I’m on Etsy. There are so many artisans available. Yes, you’re going to pay more for unique, hand made pieces. But you also aren’t paying an extra zero or two for somebody’s name to be on the logo. They didn’t even touch the product before it reaches your door.
Ive also just stopped buying as much. Trying to trim back and get rid of things. The clutter is suffocating.
