Have you ever performed on stage or given a speech?
When I was a kid (biologically, not actionablely) I was in the choir. School choir, church choir for about a minute, but never community choir. Not sure we had one.
But high school was a fun time. Mrs Greene (Brenda K.) was a trip. She was the most outspoken lady I had met at that time. She’d tell you exactly how it was.
The took us up to New York for competition. She had the girls choir (that was me) on TV for Christmas one year.
It didn’t really strike me as something out of the ordinary at the time. Mrs Greene said go do and we would go do. Looking back, like most things, it should have been a little more… something. But most of high school didn’t have much muchness.
