Are there things you try to practice daily to live a more sustainable lifestyle?
I’m not a fan of useless waste. Plastic bags from the grocery store, disposable plastic-ware, single use <noun goes here>.
Unless there is something that is a single use/disposable necessity, I try to steer clear.
It is all destined for a landfill. Even “recycling” doesn’t do as good a job here as other countries.
Americans are too willing to throw out, buy new. It’s a sad mindset.
Somethings, I get. Our 25+ year old stove was replaced a few months ago. It didn’t have any easy fix items and I was frankly tired of keeping a stove-only lighter handy. We replaced it ourselves, and the new one is amazing. Good team building experience, too!
