How do you practice self-care?

Home should be a place of safety, comfort, and compassion. The second you go to battle with yourself and the ones in your home, you lose.

Spreading hate, rumors, gossip, and your own personal garbage to the ones you care for only serves to anger and hurt.

It also includes speaking poorly about yourself. Don’t say that you are ugly or stupid or incompetent. Your brain will believe you. Even if it’s in jest.

Drink some water. Take a few good, deep breaths. Hug someone today.
