Silver lining

What’s your favorite thing about yourself?

To be honest, I haven’t looked that one up.

I’m a fan of words, languages, sayings, meanings. All the things. I have often parroted “silver lining” but never looked it up. Here goes!

Not disappointed! John Milton!

Was I deceived? or did a sable cloud

Turn forth her silver lining on the night?

I did not err, there does a sable cloud,

Turn out her silver lining on the night

And casts a gleam over this tufted grove.

I’ll be using that more often. I do love me some good John Milton. Paradise Lost? Yeah.

The disc golf guy? He’s OK, too.

What I love about me.

Even when things are rough, down in the dumps, they suck…. I can find something that is a plus. That silver lining.

It helps, truly.

Been dumped? There is someone better out there.

Kids being turds? Fewer student loans I have to co-sign.

I have an ear infection? Mandatory sleep in day.

See?

Anything is possible.
