Do you remember life before the internet?
Used to be, the attention span was about 30 minutes in kids. Why? Because that’s how long most tv shows were.
Now, with shorts and reduced content clips like TicToc, the attention span is considerably shorter.
People have unlimited access to just about everything, but are not challenging their brains to work harder, and are becoming dumber. Ask your best friend how many phone numbers they have memorized?
Now with AI, the old grey matter is going to, I fear, take another hit. Mac to School is advertising that it can write you a summary of just about anything. I can only imagine how this will impact this generation.
Is it cool that I can google just about anything? Yes. But is it really?
