I love picture books. Yes, I have a few sans-illumination stashed in the idea drawer for later. Bean, we can talk about her at some point.
Back to the Cat. There is just something about the whimsical, creative, troublemaking Cat that just makes me smile. How can you not?
Yes, he is giant. And if he were a real cat, would have probably eaten both of those kids, and the annoying fish, and probably Mom. But he’s a cartoon, so reality can take a coffee break.
I tried to skip this post today. Woke up in the crappest of funks. I was prepared to wallow. Serious wallowing. But I didn’t really want to. I think that’s how I knew that it wasn’t the right time. I ended up putting on the podcast about a guy that had been a Vietnam POW. The story of how he kept saying that his circumstances didn’t define him is what turned my day around. <google searching>

I didn’t listen to the whole video. Traffic was crap. But it made a difference in my day.
Forgive my random chatter. I needed an outlet.
