How has a failure, or apparent failure, set you up for later success?

I’m a stubborn gal. I don’t like to ask for help and I don’t easily admit defeat. We’ll call that Perseverance. I guess.

Sometimes failure provides that little kick in the butt that we need to get it moving!

I’m going to go out on a limb here and take some liberties with what the Universe is trying to tell me about life. Jim Carrey said it really well in a commencement speech. Link below, or a google search will hook you up. The safe job isn’t always “safe” and probably isn’t very fulfilling. Take a chance and do what you were meant to do.

I’ve been in the safe job for going on 10 years. I’ve met a lot of great people and learned a lot. Is it my dream job? Not so much.

So late last year, I ended up here, mostly daily blogging. Again, “met” some cool new people and I’ve learned a lot about myself.

While my day job, is still my day job, I’m managing to grow as a human in the off hours. No, I’m not switching to lite beer. Gross. 😂

I don’t know. Just go be awesome. 💜
