First determine if your caloric goals are to maintain, lose or gain.
Then figure out your protein grams.
For me, I’m in lose mode. so I’m looking at my maintenance calories and then subtracting 10-15%. That’s my intake. Max intake.
Protein is next. I’m a chick, so it’s a little lower than dudes. That number is my min.
