How are you creative?
I’m a builder, one way shape or form. I like creative writing, photograph scene setup, all kinds of design “stuff”. And cooking…mmmmm….fooood.
I think a lot of children lose those abilities as they grow up. They stop doodling, painting, free writing, dancing, the fun and creative things. Time is replaced with more structure. It’s sad, really.
My oldest wanted to be a musician for years. He has since learned that life is expensive and is looking for other means of sustaining an income. I hope he finds his way back to music at least once in a while.
Daughter was the same. She is an incredibly talented artist. Good news, she hasn’t figured out what she wants to do with her life yet. She’s got time.
Little man still wants to be a musician. He hasn’t started to shave yet, so tons of time.
I’ve had to relearn to let my creativity out. I, too, have spent too much time with structure. But, it’s a new day. Be free!
