What are your feelings about eating meat?
Some animals eat meat to survive. Cats, for example, are carnivores. Try to convert them and their bodies begin to die. I’d say that they don’t torture their food before they eat, but that isn’t exactly true.
Humans are a little different. There are plenty of folks that do just fine on a plant based diet.
While I am working on incorporating more plant based food into my diet, and purchasing more humanly raised and ethically sourced meat products, I do still fall into the meat eater category.
